Congratulations to everyone who is part of team Knet on BOINC! We have finally reached our 2 year longterm goal of 100,000 BOINC points! We have decided to increase our goal to 250,000 points by 2010, if possible. I encourage everyone who is not part of the world community grid to sign up and join team Knet!

If you use your computer a lot, or if it is always on like mine, consider using electronic post it notes. Free software such as Hott Notes or paid software such as Post-It Digital Notes are great alternatives to those sticky notes which can cost a fortune and clutter your desk space.
Sticky notes are wasteful. If I need to make a shopping list or some other note that must be on paper, I grab a scrap piece from my recycling bin.
While previously I used post it notes to write everythgn down, from phone numbers, future blog posts, tentative shopping lists, to do lists, and other tasks, I now use the free Hott Notes program. It significantly reduces clutter and waste. I only have a half dozen paper post-it notes left, and when I am done, you won’t see me using them again!
So why not use electronic sticky notes? what do you have to lose? It will save money, paper, and unclutter your desk fileld with sticky notes!
